Early Toshiba laptops - Faulty 1000uF 6.3 volt capacitor


I am about to point you to a web site that discusses a common problem in certain early Toshiba laptops, that problem being a faulty 1000uF 6.3 volt capacitor.

Your early Toshiba laptop may or may not have that capacitor.
